A lively city with great modern and historical architecture.

A lively city with great modern and historical architecture. It has a very good public transport system with frequent buses and trams. We visited Coop Live for a gig, The science and Industry museum and the Arndale Centre for shopping. We ate at Rudy's Pizza and had fantastic freshly made pizzas. and the next day at The Hard Rock Cafe at the Printworks in Central Manchester.

So easy to get around used buses and trams. Went to Manchester coop via a bus. Returned to Manchester city via tram which was great as the Marshalls got you on the trams Within 15 minuets . Considering the volume of people there was as the concert was cancelled.

Manchester is a fantastic city and I wasnt letting one woman ruin it. Manchester and its people are amazing, the culture is amazing and i highly recommend visiting. I was on route to see oasis, booked my place to stay, told them the day before what time I was arriving and while on route they cancelled on me saying they’d double booked, sorry goodbye, Still didn’t ruin the great city that Manchester is.

Nice city, went for a concert at the Co-Op venue but would like to return there again. Very easy to get around as tram and bus systems are excellent. Did one of the free morning city tours which was great, very well informed guide and it was time well spent and I would recommend. Would like to return to visit RHS Bridgewater and do some of the day tours to the Lake District etc.

Remember to check which days things are closed.

Remember to check which days things are closed. A long weekend Friday- Sunday may work better than Saturday- Monday. Loved the friendliness, the John Ryland Library, Bridgewater Gardens (though the bus ride was a bone rattler), all the music installations around the city, and bee spotting. I recommend Rosa’s for good Thai food.

The bar next door is full of horrendous staff I’ve never experienced rudeness like it. I was shocked to be asked to move downstairs at 7pm as the bar was so quiet. I was not told 10 minutes before I was sat in the wrong place and this is a very busy city centre bar. At 6am next morning I could hear word for word the couple next door and the 2 screaming children this is a joke hotel and I’m ashamed you hold a place in Manchester you are a disgrace!
